LILACS: solidarity is to share 35 years watching over the visibility of scientifific production in health in the region

LILACS: solidaridad es compartir 35 años velando por la visibilidad de la producción científica en salud de la región

The Latin American and Caribbean region has a specialized database in the area of health and technical-scientific production in the region - LILACS, created in the 1980s as the most important index for information management in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a thematic scope in documentary language supported by the Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCS) vocabulary used for indexing and retrieval of documents entered into the databases.
