Klebsiella is a gram-negative bacteria with significant clinical relevance. Over the past three decades, Klebsiella pneumoniae has been considered the etiologic agent of liver abscesses associated with metastatic complications such as endophthalmitis, meningitis, and necrotizing fasciitis, termed invasive liver abscess syndrome. A case is presented in a 51-year-old male patient presenting with febrile syndrome, K. pneumoniae bacteremia, liver abscess, endophthalmitis and septic cerebral and pulmonary embolism.
