Nanotechnology is a relatively new science, it consists in the study, analysis, structuring, formation, design and operation of materials at molecular scales, which we call nanomaterials. Nanotechnology has multiple applications in other sciences and technologies, brings together different scientific areas and is favored by interdisciplinary approaches. It is predicted to generate innovations that respond to many of the problems facing society today.
In universities and research centers it is working on the synthesis of new nanomaterials and the study of their properties for applications in fields as varied as medicine. It is important that students and professionals in the health area receive knowledge of these processes to understand the new ways of science.
