Sinus of Valsalva aneurysms are rare anomalies that can be congenital or acquired, and may be surgically intervened or not, based on their clinical presentation. We present the case of a young patient without a significant cardiovascular history who consults for chest pain and in to whom a sinus of Valsalva aneurysm associated with mitral insufficiency was documented early. He was operated and discharged 90 days after surgery with favorable clinical evolution and remission of cardiovascular symptoms.
