        Regional anesthesia is one of the preferred techniques for cesarean section surgery because it gives access to a better surgical condition, due to the low rate of maternal and fetal mortality, which encourages the medical, paramedical and even patient bodies to practice daily . The objective of this review of the subject is to describe how low doses of fentanyl plus levobupivacaine offer a sensitive and adequate motor block without hemodynamic compromise of the patient, thus obtaining a rapid recovery and adequate postoperative analgesia, decreasing the use of vasopressor, inotropic, analgesic drugs and antiemetics. Aware that the ideal technique for cesarean delivery still does not exist and knowing the boom and the large number of anesthesiologists who prefer subarachnoid anesthesia, this revision is available that in the future can serve as a reference base) for a work of analytical cut.
