Multiple sclerosis is a demyelinating disease of the central nervous system whose pathological findings are mainly found in the white matter. However, it is paradoxical that those who suffer from this disease are more likely than the general population to have epileptic seizures. We quote below the case of a young patient with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, who presented a crisis as the first manifestation of his disease. The imaging findings of the cortical and juxtacortical lesions found are topographically related to the clinical manifestations of seizures. The epidemiology, clinical, pathophysiology, diagnostic and therapeutic approach, as well as the long-term prognosis of these patients are analyzed.
