Kienbock's disease is a rare condition thus its pathophysiology remains unknown. Although in very early stages treatment is not invasive, it ends up in great surgical interventions due to its serious sequelae which limit hand functionality and mechanics. Here, we present the case of a male patient with history of trauma of the right hand that caused post traumatic bone necrosis of the lunate.
