Abstract
Much has been said regarding famed painter Vincent Van Gogh. Most writers, seek to explain how this vastly talented man, was able to convey his enormous pain into paint, and produce a result filled with absolute beauty. Others busied themselves with understanding if the various illnesses the man had, became an influence for the way he portrayed life. Objective: It is our purpose to find a bridge between the two, to take a look into his life from the inside out, in order to shed light over whether or not the reason behind Van Gogh’s unparalleled work, his command of color and his masterful use of shape, had a biological reason, or perhaps a deeply emotional one
