Abstract

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a disease with a wide spectrum of systemic manifestations and has been studied for several decades. The clinical picture of patients with SLE shows a great variation and for that reason it has been difficult to develop a unified concept of the disease. This has led to subgroups that have been defined by constellations of clinical and biological conditions, histological changes and laboratory abnormalities. Bullous lupus is a form of presentation of SLE with a distinctive combination of clinical, histological and immunopathological conditions.2 In recent years, a small number of patients with bullous SLE has been reported, most of whom are young adults.2 present case corresponds to a young patient who was diagnosed with bullous LES in our institution.
