Transartroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament

Resumen

Después de la descripción de motivaciones, historia, descripciones anatómicas y quirúrgicas detalladas acerca del ligamento cruzado anterior de la rodilla (LCA) se valoran los resultados obtenidos en pacientes con inestabilidad anterolateral de la rodilla, atendidos en el Hospital de San José, a quienes se les realizó reconstrucción transartroscópica del LCA, con autoinjerto de tendón patelar. Los objetivos específicos del estudio son documentar y evaluar los resultados obtenidos en los pacientes atendidos en la institución entre enero de 1991 y diciembre de 1996, considerando la estabilidad anteroposterior actual de la rodilla, las mediciones con el artrómetro de Stryker, la movilidad articular postoperatoria, la presencia de síntomas residuales, el nivel funcional actual y el reintegro a las actividades deportivas.
